The Shamus Restaurant is situated in a charming old house in downtown Lockport. This 150 year old home was converted into a restaurant in 1973. The Gaelic name Shamus comes from the former owner, James Murphy, who established his original Lockport restaurant in 1950.
The Shamus Restaurant offers a wide variety of contemporary cuisine, including house specialties, to satisfy every taste. The bar is a local Lockport favorite with traditional Irish decor and the dining rooms have an intimate, fine-dining atmosphere.
We have great food, friendly hospitality, excellent service and a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Popular dinner menu items include: Fresh Salmon, Certified Angus Beef, Stuffed Chicken, Weekly Pasta Specials, Pork Chops, Seafood Pie Specials and Pan-Seared Scallops.
The Shamus is open on Mother's Day and celebrates St. Patrick's Day every day during the month of March.
